Introduzione alla storia ed alla cultura americane del ‘700. Il XVIII sec. rappresenta la svolta fondamentale nella formazione degli Stati Uniti, attraverso il distacco delle tredici colonie dalla madrepatria, la guerra di Indipendenza e la fondazione della nuova repubblica. È l’età dei “padri fondatori” e dei primi scritti, soprattutto di natura politica, su cui si fonda la nuova nazione.
An introduction to American history and culture of the Eighteenth c., which represents the turning point in the formation/foundation of the USA, through the search for freedom of the thirteen colonies, the war of independence against G.B., and the establishment of the new republic. The founding fathers and the political-ideological theorists represent the most important characters of the age.
